East Palo Alto could adopt Baghdad as a sister city tonight.
Pulgas Ave is like a free fire zone.
It’s me Joely. I almost forgot to give The Bear his meds yesterday morning. I did catch myself, but now I’m logging all that stuff on Twitter. People may make fun of me for doing this, but it’s a lifesaver. I {HEART} The Bear
The Bear is a Web 2.0 sort of puddy!

My updates are currently “protected” ’cause they’re mostly Scruffy’s “records.”
Scruffy decided to take his blog to a whole new level!

Scruffy has had a great evening. He went outside tonight (I went with him with a flashlight) and he scampered through the hole in the back fence. (I went through the gate.) Then he thought about climbing a very tall tree but decided (judiciously) not to. Then, I coaxed him back through the fence and he laid down in the yard to keep an eye on things. After a few minutes, I started getting cold and brought him back into the house. He didn’t make a big fuss about it like he would have a year ago. He’s been very talkative this evening. Kind of like old times. When he was on the sofa a bit ago I looked over at him and told him how lucky we were to be here! He since headed back into his room and I’ll soon follow.

Scruffy reminded me that it was a special day!
It’s Max’s Mom’s Birthday!

Scruffy looks good in any light!

Scruffy came out of The Bear Lair to hang out with me in the living room. I thought he looked cute perched part way out the opening.

Scruffy continues his meditation practice. It’s a good way to settle-in after unexpected change.
